Here's a little about us and the work we do..
A girl from Bhilai, finished fashion design from MATS, raipur..grown up fighting with her brother, riding bilkes, beating up guys.. thought of putting in a bit of the bundle of hot blood fighting against the elements that harm the earth... say's who "being hot tempered is bad" as long as you're using it for the right cause.. thats our Meenal for you.. worked with an NGO, lived in villages all for knowing lives better..
Ever asked a kid "what do you want to be when you grow up" you get a different answer everyday.. well there's a grown up here who who still feels the same.. just that the earth and it's people are the highest on her priority, Manorath a hotelier turned designer she could be a doctor tomorrow and an astronaught the day after.. whatever, as long as it is for her priority.
OK thats two crazy people.. now we needed a third to get all their crazy ideas plus her own put together and make something out of it.. so along came Saloni, super excited, super sweet.. the brain behind the business.. handles everything perfectly...
The three of us together represent Turmeric, which like each of us, is here for a cause to give people better lives and good designs..
OUR WORK:
All of us together borrow some stuff from the earth, like spices, fruit, rust, leaves etc.. crush it, bury it, ferment it, store it, boil it and get some beautiful color in the end which we put on organically grown cotton fabric..make our designs on recycled paper.. the accesorios that you see are made out of our own waste paper, pens etc..
It all comes from the nature, goes back to the nature.. does good to all..

Hiya girls
Good start.
I hope you’ve seen http://brandingclasses.blogspot.com where you will find an article you ought to read and also a list of the items we will discuss during this course.
Now I am hoping to see on your blog:
1. This list of qualities your brand will aspire to create in people’s minds (the final list of words you agreed upon from your individual word preferences.
2. A definition of who your competition is and how you plan to make your offering more attractive.
3. A sharp definition of exactly who your consumer is and where they get their influences from.
These will allow us to move on from where we stopped yesterday.
Thank you for being such a nice class. I am enjoying to you all.
Rajiv
